Manifestation March

We are officially in the third month of the year. Not quite spring but we are seeing bits of it start to peak in every once in a while. What do you want from the month ahead? Do you believe in the power of manifestation? I do! I truly believe that we can choose the direction of our day, week, month, and year.
The formal definition of manifestation is “an event, action, or object that clearly shows or embodies something, especially a theory or an abstract idea”. So manifestation isn’t about the final project, it is about the embodiment of an idea. If I want to manifest more friendships in my life this month what can I do about that? Here are 4 steps to support you in manifesting what you want this month.
Dream
First, what is it that you want exactly? Give yourself time to dream about what it is that you want more of in your life. If it is friendships, what will that look like for you? More girl’s night outs? A shopping buddy? Someone, to problem-solve with? More laughter? Be specific in what it is you would like more of in this area. Take a few minutes and do a little dreaming, grab your journal, and start writing about what it is you want to manifest more of this month.
Why
Now, why do you want that particular thing in your life right now? What will you have if you have that? If you are looking for more friendships, what is your why? Are you lonely, bored, or in a rut with current friends? Knowing why you want something will help you get clear in pursuing it. The why is your motivation for taking action. Without a clear why you won’t make any changes, it will just remain in the dream stage.
Feel It
Next, it is time to feel it! What will it feel like when you have that? What difference will having manifested (more friendships) make in how you feel on a daily basis? Our feelings can be strong motivators to take action. When you know that pursuing more friendships will help you feel better about yourself, you will be more likely to carve out the time to make that happen. A good place to practice is with yourself. Are you a good friend to yourself? Are you there for you when you need it most? Can you count on yourself for a kind word of encouragement or a soft place to land? Being the kind of friend you want in your life to yourself is a great step towards manifesting more friendships. You will know what it feels like to be nurtured and encouraged and you will be able to recognize it when you receive it from others, and you will be better able to give it to others as well.
Tenacity
Manifestation is not a magic pill that you take once and poof you have everything you ever wanted. Tenacity is essential, it is persevering and holding onto what it is you are seeking more of. It is being patient while you invite what it is you want to enter. Tenacity means you keep doing the work, and don’t give up when you don’t receive instant gratification. Building new friendships takes time. Be diligent in pursuing what you want.
Let’s make this Manifestation March! Let’s be intentional about bringing more of what we want into our days.
